Creating a class, requesting a listing, and posting to EduMEE.com
This article describes how to create your first class on EduMEE. You will separately need to complete your profile and get approved as a teacher.
Create a class
You create a class without regard to the time or date it’s being offered. Every class has a title, description, and price. We have detailed guidelines on how to make a successful listing, but the summary is this: make your class based on Next Generation and Common Core Standards, Create a world in Minecraft to be your “classroom”, create lessons based on Project-based Learning methods, provide details about for potential families such as student activities, assessments, and the learning outcomes.
You will work with EduMEE staff to finalize your course. Once your course has been reviewed and approved EduMEE will publish it to EduMEE.com. Please note that new teachers will need to have one class published before submitting additional classes for review.
Post Class to EduMEE.com
Once your course has been approved EduMEE staff will post it to the EduMEE.com website. Parents and students will be able to see your course listing when they search the site.
Respond to questions and get enrollments
Once parents can find your class, they will likely ask you questions. Please be responsive – this will increase the chance that parents enroll! You’ll be notified each time a student enrolls.
If you got this far, you’re off to a great start.
